OUR MISSION
The West Windsor-Plainsboro People of Color Advocacy (WW-P POC Advocacy) is a youth-led organization comprised of students attending both West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North and South. Together, we aim to ensure that the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District (WW-PRSD) adheres to anti-racist competencies through racially equitable modifications and implementations in district policy, education, and school/community programming. Our platform amplifies youth voices, establishes institutional partnerships with administrators, and places students at the forefront for change. We’ve translated concerns and ideas expressed by our peers into an comprehensive Anti-Racist Action Plan (PEP) which provides an holisitc approach to education injustice. It is evident that until we address the inequities in our education system, they will continue to persist. Thus, it is imperative that we work together to reinvent our education system.
